French fashion designer Olivier Rousteing is known for tailoring formfitting silhouettes, but it’s his love of football — dating back to childhood — that sits at the heart of the NikeLab x Olivier Rousteing: Football Nouveau collection. The second collaboration in NikeLab’s Summer of Sport series blends Nike innovation with Rousteing’s creative vision.

“Fashion is usually about the catwalk and the glamour, but with Nike it was about performance and the athletes,” explains Rousteing. “What I love about this collection is that we are integrating the iconic style of football into sport style.”

Ever since the #HMBalmaination hysteria calmed down, we’ve been taking guesses on who will be the next H&M guest designer.

And today – finally – H&M announced that its next designer collaboration will be with Kenzo.

Launching worldwide in selected stores and online on November 3, the collection will feature clothes and accessories for both men and women.

Viktor&Rolf to stop RTW and refocus on Couture


Dutch design duo Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren will stop the production of their label’s RTW after the FW 2015 season. They explained they want to concentrate on Viktor & Rolf’s couture collections, fragrances and licensed businesses.

As they point out, it is a strategic decision to position the Viktor & Rolf brands in the highest luxury segment of fashion.

Horsting also added: “We feel a strong need to refocus on our artistic roots. We have always used fashion to communicate, it is our primary means of artistic expression. Moreover, the label’s rtw line had started to feel creatively restricting. By letting go of it, we gain more time and freedom.”
